The youth are given a “shortcut to superstardom” through CGE.TV – a home for user-generated videos, and a growing community for those who want to showcase their talents. The videos can be seen in www.cge.tv user channels, with categories that range from technology and sports, to music, art, and fashion! The best of the videos are shown CGE.TV’s show on Sky Cable Digital Channel 57.

Unlike other video communities, CGE.TV zooms in on the users’ talents and are made by the users themselves. Filipinos are known for being talented, and CGE.TV provides the perfect opportunity for not letting these talents go to waste, as users get the chance to broadcast to viewers around the world through www.cge.tv.
Throughout the months of November and December of 2010, thousands of students flocked CGE.TV’s Upload Stations. This two-month gathering of videos was organized and managed by RedMedia, led by Ronald Lucero. The RedMedia Team trooped to the campuses of De La Salle University, Ateneo de Manila University, Far Eastern University, University of the Philippines, San Sebastian College, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, Colegio de San Juan de Letran, University of Santo Tomas, University of the East, Emilio Aguinaldo College, and Mapua Insitute of Technology. The Upload Station gathered more than a thousand videos for CGE.TV. The CGE.TV Upload Stations also promoted gadgets by Flip Video.
The RedMedia and CGE.TV tandem proved to be successful with gathering and involving the youth to support and contribute to the video community. Who knows how many of these youth will rise to superstardom?
